Gung Hay Fat Choy! The Singapore America Business Association, together with SingaporeConnect and NUSEA, invites all to join us in ushering in the Year of the Ox. Chinese New Year is the time for reunion and thanksgiving.  Let us come together to celebrate this special time of the year.

 

Come dressed in Red or traditional Chinese costume and get a special door gift. Enjoy the exciting Lion Dance and Shao Lin Kung Fu performances by Pure Shao Lin Kung Fu. Another highlight of the event is Chinese Orchestra Gu-Zheng performance by the San Francisco Gu-Zheng Music Society.  Children will learn about Chinese New Year traditions and Singapore while enjoying Chinese New Year related art and crafts, Chidren’s Art Competition and Best Chinese Traditional Costume Competition. Enjoy all these while savoring the delicious Singapore Food at the Merlion Restaurant.

Hong Bao (Red  Packet) of Love:

As we celebrate this Spring Festival, we invite you to share the joy with the less fortunate children in Price of Peace Children’s Home, in Tianjin, China. Bring a “Hong Bao (Red Packet) of Love” to our event. Monies collected from the Hong Baos will be donated to the Prince of Peace Children’s Home.
